BrønshøjGround: Tingbjerg Idrætspark Visits: 1 Date: 20th October 2012 Match: Brønshøj - Hobro 1-0 (1. Division) Attendance: 576
My second game of the day was the 1. Division match between Brønshøj and Hobro at Tingbjerg Idrætspark. On my way to the first match of the day (Hellerup vs LFA at Gentofte Stadion) I actually visited Tingbjerg Idrætspark. Having already taken pictures of the empty stands it didn´t matter that much I was to arrive a couple of minutes late. The match at Gentofte Stadion finished at 14.51 and 15.05 I was inside Tingbjerg Idrætspark, not bad! As soon as I arrived I looked at the score-board and it said 0-0 after 4 minutes. Tingbjerg Idrætspark only has one seated stands (on the west side). This stand has a capacity of around 500 and in total the capacity must be 2 000 or so. There is a small stand behind the south goal but apart from that you are standing on the ground.
Brønshøj play in yellow and black and are nick-named "Hvepsene". Their most loyal fans are situated in the south half of the main stand and for most of the match they did their best to support the home team. Today´s visitors, Hobro, are from Jylland and I couldn´t spot a single away fans at this match. It was 0-0 at half-time but early in the second half the home supporters finally had something to celebrate, 1-0 from a corner. The rest of the match was quite good with chances for both teams but the match finished 0-0. It had been a very warm day for being in late October but towards the end of this match it was starting to feel a bit colder. Nevertheless a nice day out for me in the Copenhagen area with two new grounds visited.
