MyranGround: Nedervetil Sportplan Visits: 1 Date: 10th July 2026 Match: IK Myran - FC Brändöpojkarna 6-0 (Kolmonen Naisten) Attendance: 65 On Saturday the plan was to visit a game in Kronoby and then go to Kokkola/Karleby for KPV v TPV. Earlier in the week William found out the game in Kronoby had been moved to a later date. He had found an alternative game though, at Nedervetil where Myran hosted Brändöpojkarna at Nedervetil Sportplan in Kolmonen Naisten. Level 5 football for women is not something I normally visit but hearing Myran played in the top division eight years ago and Nedervetil Sportplan being quite a nice ground I was looking forward to my visit. At 11.30 William picked me up at my hotel and after a short stop in Kronoby (food and drinks) we arrived in Nedervetil around 30 minutes prior to kick-off. It was the first day of Tjärveckan in Nedervetil and after the game there was a big barbecue with live music. Nedervetil Sportplan has running tracks but with a grass pitch and situated next to the river I have certainly been to worse grounds for football. Once the game got underway it was clear this was going to be an easy victory for Myran. In the end it ended 6-0 and as the final whistle was blown I could hear the announcer saying it was time for the players to go back home and put on their dancing shoes! The announcer was actually quite entertaining although his Swedish accent confused me at times.
