On Sunday I had the opportunity to complete Division 2 Norra Götaland by going to Klassmossens IP in Karlstad. Kick-off was at 16.00 though meaning I would be home around midnight and I couldn´t find an earlier game to combine Klasmossen with. I decided to skip Karlstad and stayed the night in Alingsås where I could attend two games on Sunday. The game at Bodarnevallen finished at 12.45 and 12 minutes later I parked my car outside Mjönvallen where Alingsås would host Bergdalen in Division 3 Mellersta Götaland at 13.00. Having been to Mjörnvallen earlier in the day I knew where to park and had already taken pictures of the lovely wooden main stand. Mjörnvallen is situated next to the lake Mjörn and the ground was inaugurated in 1915. Several upgrades have been done since then and in 2013 the main stand was demolished and rebuilt. The new main stand looks really nice though and Mjörnvallen is clearly a much better ground to visit than Klassmossens IP!

I visited Bergdalen two years ago and back then they played in division 2. They are now in the relegation zone in division 3 and with Alingsås being mid-table Bergdalen definitely was the team with most to play for this afternoon. 29 minutes into the game it was 5-0 to Alingsås though. Game over for Bergdalen and from now on it was only a question of what the winning margin would be. The next goal actually wasn´t until stoppage time and it ended 6-0 to Alingsås. My trip was coming to an end but at least I saved the best ground for the last game!
