Having already completed Division 3 Södra- and Sydöstra Götaland I Iooked at Division 3 Sydvästra Götaland this weekend. Kärlekens IP is the home of IF Centern and is one of three grounds I still haven't visited in this league. Being situated just north of Halmstad it was around 2 hours drive for me and I arrived 50 minutes prior to kick-off. Kärlek is Swedish for love and it is kind of a curious name for a ground. With the temperature reaching 24 °C it was easy to fall in love with today´s conditions! Centern won Division 4 Halland last season and today they hosted the winners from 2023, Galtabäcks BK. Galtabäck are top of the table and a win today would see them four points clear at the top of the table. Centern are fourth but have an outside chance of reaching a promotion spot.

There is no proper stand at Kärlekens IP but in the east side there are plenty of benches to sit on. I decided to stand/sit on the clubhouse porch for most of the game and from there I had a good view of the action. Galtabäck made it 0-1 in the second minute and at half-time it was 0-2. Centern pulled a goal back but no more goals this sunny afternoon and it ended 1-2 at Kärlekens IP. For once an official attendance was announced and with my estimate being 200 the announced number of 196 seems correct. For division 3 this is a good attendance and with Galtabäck being one of my missing two grounds I am thinking about going there this season. Teams at the top usually have good attendances but it will be 2,5 hours of driving from where I live and I want to combine it with another game.
