Jämjö GoIFGround: Jämjö Idrottsplats Visits: 1 Date: 23rd June 2025 Match: Jämjö GoIF - Kallinge SK 7-0 (Division 5 Blekinge) Attendance: 105 The week after Midsommar is in most lower leagues when the last fixtures before the summer break is being played. Jämjö GoIF are top of Division 5 Blekinge and I decided to visit their Monday evening fixture against Kallinge. Yesterday we had really warm conditions but that changed overnight and on Monday it was much cooler with heavy rain showers. I packed rain clothes as well as an umbrella before picking up a co-worker who joined me tonight. Jämjö is 80-85 minutes by car and we arrived around an hour prior to kick-off. First stop was a local restaurant though where we had something to eat and drink before heading to Jämjö IP. There is an artificial pitch at Jämjö IP which is quite unusual in Blekinge but apart from that the ground is alright with a grass bank with plenty of benches in the west side. It was raining as we had dinner but as I parked my car the sky looked promising and I left the umbrella in the car. There was no rain during the match and at times the sun was visible. With Kallinge being 4th and I was actually expecting an even affair at Jämjö IP but that was not to be the case. It was 3-0 by half-time and in the 2nd half Jämjö scored four additional goals to win 7-0. I am in no doubt Jämjö will win this league and play in division 4 next season. I was back home around 22.15 and will now take a few days off football but plenty of football is coming up next weekend!
