Maxilandia IP KonstgräsGround: Maxilandia IP Konstgräs Visits: 1 Date: 3rd April 2026 Match: Nosaby - Räppe 1-1 (Division 2 Södra Götaland) Attendance: 100 For Good Friday my plan was to visit Smedstorp v Åhus IF in Division 5. On Tuesday evening I found out Åhus had withdrawn from the league and I had to look at other options. Nya Vallbjörka is the nearest ground to where I live and Nosaby were hosting Räppe in Division 2 Södra Götaland this afternoon. The grass pitch is not yet ready to host football though and the game was moved to Maxilandia IP Konstgräs in Fjälkinge. We had a harsh winter in southern Sweden and most games this Easter weekend have been moved to artificial pitches. Fjälkinge is less than 15 minutes by car for me and although I knew it would be quite cold in the wind I decided to go there this afternoon. I have been to Maxilandia before but that was for a Fjälkinge game at the main (grass) pitch. The artificial pitch is not that inspiring but it would at least be an interesting game. Both Nosaby and Räppe won their opening games last weekend but today Nosaby were by far the better team. 0-0 and half-time and once Nosaby scored it was ruled out for a foul on the goalkeeper. Through-out the game I chatted with the reporter from the local paper, who I have known for many years, and we could look on as a rare goalkeeping error gave Nosaby the lead in the 86th minute. Räppe rarely had any chances but deep in stoppage time they equalised from a corner and it ended 1-1 at Maxilandia Konstgräs. “Daylight robbery” according to the Nosaby manager and I have to agree, this was a game Nosaby should have won by a few goals.
