Due to a heavy workload at the moment I decided to only attend one game this weekend. On Friday evening there were lots of options in Blekinge but with Rödeby hosting Älmeboda/Linneryd at Åvallen the decision where to go was actually quite easy. When Rödeby AIF were promoted from Division 4 Blekinge to Division 3 Sydöstra Götaland at the end of last season I needed to visit Åvallen to re-complete this league. As I was about to leave for Rödeby the weather forecast said rain but luckily most of the rain was further south and upon arrival the sun was out. Åvallen has four fully sized pitches and the main one has a stand in the east side. Quite a few away fans could be spotted and in total the attendance was around 100 at Åvallen this Friday evening.

Älmeboda/Linneryd scored early on but Rödeby managed to equalise. Shortly before the break the visitors scored again and at half-time they were deservedly 2-1 up. In the 2nd half the rain arrived but thankfully I found cover and after 20 minutes or so the rain clouds moved elsewhere. I was expecting Älmeboda/Linneryd to win comfortably but they seem to be out of steam in the 2nd half and instead Rödeby could equalise. It ended 2-2 at Åvallen and as I made the 80 minute drive back home I could look back on yet another nice day out watching lower league football.
